The author

Costa G. Lagoudakis, born Konstantinos Grigoriou Lagoudakis, is a Greek novelist based in Athens. He studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business and writes in English and Greek. His fiction is psychodramatic literary fiction: close, patient work about families, disability, and the long consequences of other people's choices. His debut novel, Silent From Within, follows Matt, a young man diagnosed with a hearing disability in early childhood, across eleven years in which his family comes apart under the weight of his father's decisions. He self-published it in 2014; a revised second edition was published by Stergiou Books Limited in Ireland in 2021, and it is available worldwide in paperback and ebook.
